Recently, when describing what the US would be expecting in the way of concessions from Israel, I said it would soon be time to call upon all US-connected supporters of Israel who read my material to protest.
THE TIME IS NOW.
Sec. of State Condoleezza Rice is due here early next week. Word is (there are slightly different versions, but the essence is clear) that she is coming to promote formation of a Palestinian State. Remember how she spoke about the window of opportunity? I joked that she was in an alternate universe. She is indeed in an alternate universe, but what she would like to do is no joke.
She reportedly thinks that while the Palestinians most decidedly don’t have their act together, once there are negotiations and it’s clear what they will receive, they will concentrate on getting their act together: it will motivate them. It is unmitigated nonsense. Why? Because their goal is not acquisition of a state living next to Israel in peace, their goal is destruction of Israel.
While this would ostensibly be done via the Road Map, Rice wants to skip over the first part of that plan, which calls for Palestinian efforts to dismantle terrorist infrastructure, and jump right to the part that discusses formation of a state. It would be nothing short of a disaster for Israel. For it would mean formation of a terrorist state at Israel’s borders.
The person who must be reached is President Bush.
I urge and implore each and every one of you to communicate with the president. This is the role you can play to make a difference. You are not powerless if you will put your caring into action.
You must write as an American citizen.
Contact the president yourself, and also forward this to everyone else you can think of who also cares.
Help the network grow! Numbers are crucial. We want a grassroots groundswell: hundreds, or better, thousands, of communications. Pass this message to organizational/synagogue/church lists and to various blogs and websites.
Letters are the most effective means of delivering your message. Either by snail mail or by fax. If you cannot do this, place a phone call. Least effective, but better than no message, is one by e-mail.
TIME IS CRITICAL.

Using your own words…
Explain that a Palestinian state would be a terrorist entity and a major threat to Israel.
Speaking as a strong supporter of Israel, appeal to the president to protect Israel by refusing to permit that state to be established now. Tell the president that you know he understands and that you count on him to do the right thing here.
The US hope is that a "moderate" Fatah can be strengthened and will take charge. Following are points that totally refute this:
Vast amounts of weaponry have been smuggled into Gaza with the intention of attacking Israel. Fatah is among the groups involved in this. There is clear documentation that Al Aqsa Brigades (which is involved even in such things as building bunkers in Gaza for rockets) is a branch of Fatah.
There is extensive evidence to connect Fatah and and its leader Mahmoud Abbas with terrorism. They are NOT moderates.
The Fatah charter calls for Israel’s destruction. The plan is to do it in stages — taking what is possible in order to gain more.
Mahmoud Abbas himself has documented terrorist connections. He encouraged Hamas participation in the PA from the beginning of his presidency.
Just months ago, Abbas signed the Prisoner’s Document, with Hamas. It: sanctions terrorism even inside of Israel proper, calls for the "right of return" and fails to recognize Israel’s right to exist.
Serious political thinkers/journalists in Israel are convinced that Abbas is not powerless, but rather that he does not defeat Hamas because he does not want to.

A recently released 33 year old State Dept. cable makes it clear that the State Department has been covering for Fatah, which was involved in the murder of two American diplomats. That policy of whitewashing Fatah must change now. See the article by Caroline Glick exposing this at:
I am available to anyone who wants further documentation or clarification.
